Just published in International Journal of Information Management (#IJIM; #IJIMFeb2024Vol74): M. Mahdi Roghanizad & Ozgur Turetken (2024). Resource-seeking and media choice process: A case of irrational decision making. International Journal of Information Management, 74, 102714. DoI: https://doi.org/10.1016/j.ijinfomgt.2023.102714

Highlights
• Face to face (FtF) resource-seeking is much more effective than an email message.
• Requesters overestimate email effectiveness and perceive FtF to be awkward.
• Requesters choose email and receive less help than they would otherwise.
• Media choice is a decision making process prone to bounded rationality and biases.
